The British Embassy is recruiting a temporary (1-year maternity leave cover), full-time Human Resources & Training Liaison Officer.
Day to day HR issues, providing advice to Management and staff; upkeep of records and liaison with legal advisers, MFA and other local authorities encompassing:
Human resource issues including labour code, recruitment, letters of appointment;
Protocol liaison with the MFA and other local authorities regarding accreditation of UK-based staff
Arrangements for UK staff language training;
Monitoring the Post training budget; maintaining and updating Embassy training plan; advising on staff Personal Development Plans;
Organising in-house Learning&Development (L&D) events; evaluating L&D activities;
Social Contribution and Pension Fund registration and liaison;
Management of the Reception (2-member staff);
Maintaining the Embassy intranet site;
Maintaining Corporate Services Registry;
Other administrative tasks.
3 years+ previous work experience in HR or L&D role;
Budget management experience;
Sound judgement and ability to take good decisions;
Team player who also has the confidence and ability to work alone;
Excellent customer skills;
Fluent English and Serbian, both spoken and written;
Good organisational skills;
Good IT skills;
Some knowledge of Serbian Labour law desirable;
No criminal record.
