Rubbestandneset to work and live (Bergen)

I'm from Italy, Milan and I'm considering a job offer as mechanical design enginer in Rubbestadneset (about 100km south of Bergen).
Please, I would need some advices about this place, in order to help me to have as more as possible information.
Is this a good place to live and work?
Is there good links to other town and countries?
Cost of life, medical assistance, taxes, etc. etc.
