exploring expat in germany (Berlin)

Hi, I have been living in US for more than ten years and now interested in living in Germany recently, after I had a trip to Europe. I visited the Raney valley and Munich city in Germany and very impressed by the country. My main concern is stability, I would like to find a potential job offer first and move there. I have about Protected content development/quality assurance engineering experience with multinational technology company and currently living in Silicon Valley. Not much about how the tech industry in Germany is, I know it is very industrialized country with lots of engineering opportunity. Second concern is I have only English skills, without German language, would it be possible or am I even encouraged to find a professional job there? Any types of advice is appreciated. Thanks!
