FHTW Berlin Advices about masters program

Hey there Berlin Community!

I'm Julian from Colombia, currently an expat down there in the beautiful Munich working for the best socialnetworking website for expatriates :-)
I have a question and perhaps you may help me with some advice.
I have a friend who is currently applying for a Master's program in the FHTW in Berlin. Basically he would like to know the following:

"Hi, i´m applying for a DAAD scolarchip in the FHTW in Berlin, Fachhochschule für Technik und Wirstchaft for Maters in International and development economics. What opinion do you have for the DAAD programs? and the FHTW? Is it a recognized college in Germany or Europe? Do you know anyone who has study there before who can give me some general info about the school? thanks !" Guillermo

If you happen to have studied here or have some opinion about it, I would really appreciate if you can drop me some lines. I would gladly pass it on to my friend.
