German Course in Hamburg v Berlin

Hi there!

I am thinking of moving to Germany and am divided between taking a 4weeks intensive German course at the Goethe Institute Hamburg and Goethe Institute Berlin. A cultural program is incorporated in the course so I presume that includes visits to museums, pubs, theatres etc. However, I am also interested in doing some networking in IT and a good connection with a British/American expat society would be a plus. I would be grateful for any advice as to why either one of these cities best meet my needs.
