Importing my car from the USA to Germany (Berlin)

I have a 2-year-old car -- a Protected content ES-300. I love this car and wish to bring it with me to Berlin.

I know it will be checked to see if it pases German standards. Would it? Or would it need modifications?

Also, are there certain tire requirements I need to know about?

And how are the typical gas prices there?
