Moving to Berlin ...

Hi,

I am Making a new start in my life after living in China for a couple of years. I thought Berlin would be an exciting place to do so. I have been looking for a job and there are a lot of offers. I have also been looking for a place to live. I am looking for 1/2rooms+ kitchen, furnished flat with good local transport connection. My problem is : I have no idea what areas are the best areas to look for when you want to live central(ish) with good public transportion and rent prices that are affordable?

Any advice is very appreciate.
