Postdoctoral position (Marie Curie Fellowship) (Berlin)
Partners from Charite University Hospital and UCLA are seeking a creative, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to apply for a Marie Curie (Global) Postdoctoral Fellowship (EU) for a project on ischaemic heart disease in pregnancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to perform their postdoctoral studies in an international and supporting scientific environment and will receive advanced research training to develop their career.
Due to the nature of the Marie Curie Global Fellowship, the successful candidate a) will spend 12 months in Los Angeles followed by a 12 month return period in Berlin and b) must have not lived more than 12 months during the last 3 years in the USA.
Applications are accepted from candidates who hold a doctoral (Ph.D.) degree or an equivalent degree in Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or in a related field within the Life Sciences. For M.D. candidates, the EU requirement of 4 years of full-time research experience applies. Excellent analytical skills and very good command of the English language are expected.
Duration and salary
The position will be available for 2 years and paid at the EU Marie Curie level.
