residency registration (Berlin)

Hello,
I just arrived in Berlin and staying at a temporary accomodation for 2 weeks whicl I find a long-term housing. Now, I'm wondering if I need to register at a location office now even though I'll moved out shortly. Is it OK not to register until I find a long-term housing? I would appreciate your advice.
