Selfemployed freelance work permit (Berlin)

Hi ,

I am non-EU & had applied for a Selfemployed freelance work permit in my local embassy for a highly skilled professional job contract . With in 2 days, my work permit was approved & have now requested to come in for stamping with insurance & flight ticket.

I was told that freelance self employed is approved by chamber of commerce (IHK of the city) not by embassy and usually takes time. My immigration lawyer is surprised that its been processed in 2 days. She is worried now that if wrong process was followed , I may have issues while registering work permit in Berlin.

Is there a cause for concern. What if such a situation happens; Can that be corrected while me being in Germany ?
