Starting work in Berlin - Registering/ Tax number

Hi! I am on a NZ passport and have relocated here to work on a holiday working visa.

I am currently interviewing and will (hopefully) start working soon.

Where do I go to get a Tax number and do I have to register with the local authority(Anmeldung?) - can I do one without the other? I don't have an official address yet.

Also what documents do I have to bring?

Any advice would be very welcome,
