I'm a high school social studies teacher from the US. I am moving to Berlin and wondering what is the demand for non-German speakers/English speakers to find work teaching in some capacity. I've heard everything from it's over saturated to high in demand for a teacher with a valid teaching to land a job in Berlin. Ideally, I'd like to find a full time position in my field at an international school. But also consider substituting and teaching English. Is there a demand for any native English teachers in a city where it seems everyone speaks English? Also, does anyone know what the going salary/ hourly wage for any teaching jobs?
