InterNations Competition! (Birmingham)

Dear InterNations Birmingham,

Birmingham has challenged Cambridge and Manchester to a contest between cities! Both cities have stepped up to the plate and accepted the challenge. Today, we officially start the competition between the Birmingham, Cambridge and Manchester Communities! (Perhaps Edinburgh will join us too!)

The competition will consist of a race on three different levels, each of which has to be reached in order to earn points. The first Community to reach a goal gets the highest score, the other teams receive less points with regards to their place. The three challenges are as follows:

1. Exceeding 50 attendees at an event (40, 30 , 20 and 10 points respectively)

2. Exceeding Protected content two-flagged (dual nationality) members (40, 30, 20, 10 points respectively)

3. Exceeding Protected content at an event Protected content , 80, Protected content 40 points respectively)

The first two challenges will begin simultaneously. The Community with the highest score in the end will win a prize sponsored by InterNations (a free round of drinks or some other special at the event)! The scoring system is constructed so that even if a Community does well in the first two stages but does not win the last one, it can still win the contest! So it's going to be exciting until the very end!

It is completely up to you, dear members, to win this competition and help your Ambassadors show that your Community is the best! And remember: You will help your Community grow and have a better InterNations experience by participating in this contest. Even if you don’t win, you will still have the chance to get to know many new and exciting Global Minds!

We will keep you updated about the development on this forum thread and hope that you will all participate with lots of energy and enthusiasm, so we'll see which Community has the most committed members!
