Swiss-Kyrgyz collaboration art-project TET A TET, 3th of February at p.m. 5:30p.m. in University of Management and Design (Mederov Str. #51)

Initiatives group of young artists “InsideOut” will present Swiss-Kyrgyz “TET A TET” art-project and share their experience. Participants will show photos and video and tell about collaboration project with Swiss artists organized by Focus-Art Association and present results of “TET A TET # 2” Exhibition in Vevey, Switzerland.

About TET A TET Project

The focus Association organized the first part of the artistic exchange “Tet-a-Tet” between Switzerland and Kyrgyzstan from October 22nd to November 11th, Protected content . Four Swiss artists – Adrienne Scherrer, Yann Gross, Simon Deppierraz and Régis Tosetti – spent three weeks in Bishkek where they collaborated with five Kyrgyz artists from the InsideOut collective. Focus aspires to carry on with this project in visual arts in the long-term.
For the second part of TET A TET artistic exchange, the Kyrgyz artists - members of "InsideOut" group were invited, to discover the Swiss artistic scene from september 5th to 25th, Protected content . Five Swiss artists joined TET A TET 2.

The Alt Protected content ( Protected content ) , a mountain photography Festival was pleased to invite the TET A TET artists for a roundtable symposium with its director Nathalie Herschdorfer.
The collaboration project aims to promote intercultural and transnational relations between Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland with a focus: mountain and art, both common background for the all artists.
The Kyrgyz artists offer a reflection on common Swiss and Kyrgyz imaginations. The goal of second project is to symbolize the meeting in Switzerland and to continue the same engagement taken in Protected content . Through Artworks, both Swiss an Kyrgyz artists created a unique scene of contemporary creation of the Mountain Landscape.
Results of collaborative art-researches were presented on TET A TET 2 Exhibition in Switzerland, Vevey in the former supermarket EX-EPA.

Mountain Art

The mountain is a common element to both cultures. We are keeping the themes of the mountain and of Mountain Art; their representation have a rich tradition in the visual and plastic arts’ history. This common figure to both Swiss and Kyrgyz cultures will allow us a diversity of approaches that will join the artistic tradition while combining a contemporary vision.
