Advice: Two Weeks in USA (Bogotá)

Hi All,

I am planning on taking two weeks holidays and heading to the USA in December.

I am struggling to decide on the best approach to trip and what cities I can realistically see in that time.

The must sees for me is New York and Washington but I don't know what other near city is worth a visit.

If any one has any suggestions of how to divide up the holiday it would be great (also affordable) or if you have any suggestions of other places I must see or have time to see.
