Creative writing class with award winning Author (Bogotá)

I wanted to let you know about a creative writing workshop that will be run by renowned author Carlos Castillo Quintero over two saturdays Protected content and 7 Dec).

Carlos is a Colombian short story writer, poet, novelist & editor. He has published a number of books and his work has been published in several countries. He has won numerous awards for his writing including the National Short Story Award (run by the Culture Ministry), the CEAB poetry award Protected content , the National Poetry Award and the CEAB short story book award Protected content .

The workshop will last 8 hours, divided into two sessions of 4 hours. (Saturdays 30 Nov & 7 Dec – 9a.m. to 1p.m.)
The workshop will be held at the Hotel Tivoli Suites Carrera 17 Nº 109A-67 Bogotá D.C.

The total cost of the workshop is COL$115,000. This includes course materials, coffee and a snack. To register, please send an email to Protected content with the subject “Writing Workshop”. Please include your contact details and full name in the email. We will then send you an invoice for you to make payment.

Carlos will conduct the course in Spanish, so an intermediate level is required. However, all course materials will be produced in both English and Spanish. During the workshop participants may write in whichever language they choose. And I will be on hand to help native English speakers if they get stuck. We hope to make this an international workshop.

Please note there is a maximum of 15 places, therefore early registration is recommended to avoid disappointment.
