friendly rental insurance company for expats?????? (Bogotá)

hi,

i'm in the process of entering a new rental agreement and the dueña has said that she wants me to get my papers studied by an insurance company, but that I can choose which one (Mapfre, Libertadores etc).

As expats, it's harder for us to provide the back-up these companies often ask for e.g. find solid fiduciaries (co-signers) on leases. In the past Libertador asked me to put six months rent in a CDT (escrow account) in order to get approved.

My papers are in a better state now, but i wondered if anyone ever did any research into this as to which company does the cheapest studies or, more importantly, if any are known for being an easier touch for the potential renter.

Any hot tips would be most appreciated!!
