Invitation: pilot Tour to Egipto in La Candelaria‏ (Bogotá)

The Candelaria´s area is a traditional historic and tourist place. This territory keeps its memory in their architecture, museums, on the streets but also has a great importance on the living memory expressed through residents popular and traditional heritage. Neighbourhood such as Egipto and Belén are part of this amazing living memory with a mix of cultural and artistic practices of the contemporary urban youth who are building the territory through social development processes that are going on this part of the City.

The pilot tour to the Egipto´s neighbourhood is the opportunity to experience another face of La Candelaria. During the tour we would have the chance to see and understand cultural expressions, get to try local gastronomy and get to experience some of the living memory of this neighbourhood that is trying to recover from social issues.
