Process for buying a property in Bogota (Bogotá)

Does anyone know about the process for buying property in Colombia for example buying an apartment, and doing this as a foreigner.

For example, the type of deposit that would be required (for a rental property and/or a property that you live in)?

Also, is it best to get financing through a bank here in Bogota or is it best to do it abroad? or are both difficult and you pretty much need cash up fron

If anyone has personal experience (or knows someone who does) and would like to contribute some advice that would be great! (also i did a search but couldn't find any previous thread on this but if that exists, let me know as well)
