S.O.S. Child in need of Motivation (Bogotá)

We have this kid, he is 7 and he's having lots of troubles at his billingual school, His parents are divorced and lets say he's the typical case of a kid with a wealthy parent who thinks money compensates time/love
I am really concern, he keeps calling himself , dumb, stupid etc...also he is always smacking and kicking his teddy bear....
Knowing that IN is full of Teachers.... what is your advise for that,, how to motivate him,, for me is odd a 7 y/o kid using such kind of words on himself....
Any suggestion will be SOOOOOO welcomed.
