Shipping furniture to Bogota (Bogotá)

Hi everyone. I've been living in Bogota for the past 3 years and it seems that my stay has been extended.

I'm looking to ship my furniture in Europe to Colombia. People have mentioned that I may need to pay import duties on my used furniture when it arrives to Colombia (?!).

Anyone recently had the experience of shipping furniture to Colombia?
Did you have to pay import duties?
What shipping would you recommend, from Europe?
