Single Female Moving to Colombia (Bogotá)

Hello Everyone,
I was just offered a position in Bogota and am trying to get an idea of how safe it really is there. I have lived in Lima before and figure that Bogota is the same way- safe in certain areas and then there are areas to avoid. Any advice you have about which neighborhoods I should be looking for apartments in and which neighborhoods to avoid would be greatly appreciated! Also, if you have any other tips or warnings for someone moving to Bogota, I would love to hear them, thanks!
