Visas (student, work etc.) (Bogotá)

Hello everyone

My name is Takuma, I’m from Japan and am living in Bogota since about a year ago. I am wondering if anyone in this forum knows what is the best way to get a student visa for Colombia.

Reading the past threads of this forum I saw some people talking about the Spanish course at U Nacional, but to me it seems a bit costly (more than Protected content pesos per two months). Aren't there any less expensive options to maintain a student status?

Last year I had several temporary job contracts in Bogota, but these days I had to work on my personal projects that unfortunately do not have any institutional backing.

I would appreciate whatever comments and suggestions on this issue.
