Volunteer Opportunities for Recent Graduate (Bogotá)

Hi everyone,

My 18 year old cousin just graduated from high school and is taking a year off before starting college. During that time, she would like to volunteer in Colombia for a few months. Can anyone recommend some programs in Bogota that provide safe, reliable volunteer opportunities for recent H.S. grads?

Just googling I came across the International Volunteer HQ which, for a cost, provides housing, food, various options for volunteer work (teaching, construction, homeless shelters, etc). Anything similar would be great!

For the moment, if you could recommend reliable programs (I'm more concerned about the legitimacy of the organization) regardless of the cost or type of volunteer work, I'll pass them along to my cousin.
