Work Visa Extension in Bogotá

My visa expires in a few weeks and my employer wants to extend it. I've heard that I don't need to leave the country for this and can do it right here in Bogotá. Does anybody have experience with this?

Do I just collect the same paperwork that I'd need for a regular temporary work visa or do I need any additional documents?

If anyone has experience with this could you please let me know what to expect? I want to make sure I'm prepared once I get my appointment.
