Wine tasting - in Venice 26/2 (Bologna)

Dear InterNations members,

Allow us some good advice for anyone living in Venice or planning a trip in this beautiful city.

Fisar, the Italian sommelier association, will organize a red wine tasting on Sunday 26th February in the five star hotel Monaco and Grand Canal. On this exclusive occasion you will have the opportunity to try a wide selection of red wines from Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia, presented by 60 prestigious wineries. Experienced sommeliers will be there to guide you through this sensorial experience and give information about the wines you like the most. The cost is only 15€, which also includes a wide buffet of regional foods cooked by a team of chefs.

All this in the magnificent setting provided by the hosting venue, housed in a 17th Century palace overlooking the Grand Canal and just a few steps from St Mark’s square.

We believe this is really worth it and hope many of you will take the chance to go. This wine and food tasting, interestedly named Gradito l’abito rosso, will start at 11:00 and continue till 19:00 – plenty of time to enjoy both the event and the city.
