Bonn or Cologne with kids?

Hi, we are about to move to Germany, my husband will get transfered to a company placed in Bonn. We have two children 9 and 7, and we don´t know if it will be better to live in Cologne or in Bonn? Can anybody help me with your experiences about living in Bonn with kids?

Why should we choose Bonn instead of Cologne? Besides that my husband would have to drive from Cologne to Bonn every day?

I will appreciate your advices I really don´t know what to do!
