Volunteering for social cause in Bonn

Hi,
I am new to Bonn and always like to volunteer for social causes like homelessness or something to help the community. Its a fun way to give back to the community and something fulfilling to do outside of work.

Anyone doing anything interesting or could recommend contacts or organizations to approach?! I am looking for something regular once a week?!
