The Saint John String Quartet will be performing at the Temple du Hâ, 32 rue du Hâ, Bordeaux, on Thursday night at 20:30. Admission is 15 Euros.

The Saint John String Quartet, from Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada has an active concertizing schedule of over Protected content a year, which has taken them throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong and China. Their most recent CD recording of Jacques Hétu’s String Quartet No. 2 attracted a JUNO nomination in the Classical Composition of the Year category and won "Best Album of the Year" MusicNB while their previous CD won the ECMA "Best Classical Album of the year" award. The group can be often heard on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation radio waves, the Internet and on 4 award-winning compact Discs. The concert in Bordeaux, following concerts in Pau, Salies, Orion, and Bayonne, includes works of Beethoven (String Quartet Opus 18 No 1), Fauré (Quartet Opus Protected content , Massenet (Meditation de Thaïs), Kutnowski (Selections from "Watercolours") and Somer (Suite for Strings).
