English-speaking Expats in Angouleme? (Bordeaux)

Any gamers/game designers/writers/foodies/bookworms out there?

There are definitely a lot of areas I could bond with people over, but the main problem is, meeting them! I just moved to Angouleme 2 months ago, and my work is self-paced. While I'm learning French and the French culture here steadily, I would very much love to meet some people around here, and am hoping I'll have some luck through InterNations. Any suggestions on what to do?
