Hi, new to Bordeaux and just settling in

Hello all,
I have just moved to Bordeaux from Australia, I've lived in the UK for 6 years and then spent a year travelling before returning home to Australia and have just arrived in Bordeaux a few weeks ago to start a new job.

I wish I'd found this forum earlier, there's a lot of helpful info. I've found a flat and will move into it mid April. Now I just need to buy a car and I should start to feel a little more settled :)

I'd love to meet some friendly faces, my French is still very limited so I've been a little shy to socialize.
