where to live? (Boston)

Hi All, I've just registered with this site and was wondering if anyone could advise me on a good suburb to live in . I am moving to Boston from Perth australia soon with my husband and 3 children under age 7. My husbands work will be in Waltham and we are looking for a good and safe family orientated area with great schools. I won't be to able to work. Any ideas welcome!
