Accommodation in Salvador (Brasilia)

From Berlin I'll fly over to Salvador next Friday, 27.1. and will stay before going further to Brasilia for some nights. Does somebody in the Brazilian IN community know a nice place to stay? Private room, nice (and not expensive) Hotel, Pension. I'm not so much into luxury or designy and super comfortable place. More locally charming original nice quite and well located. Looking for the classical insider tip... ;-)
