Bike Meeting- Brasília MotoCapital 2013 (Brasilia)

This event may not be to everybody´s taste, but it´s great fun. One of the largest motorcyclists meetings in Latin America, it begins today and lasts up to next Sunday. It is not exclusive to bikers as families usually flock to Granja do Torto to see thousands of bikes together, all the curious carachters who show up, enjoy food and drinks and music concerts. This year there will be a fresstyle motocross show as well as a bike trial one, fighting, exhibits, motorcycle articles for sale in many stands, and Motorcyclists Groups from all corners of the country and even some from abroad.
Check it out. Entrance is free for riders and pillions. Pedestrians (you have to leave your car in the parking lot outside) pay a R$ 15,00 entrance fee (expensive, if you ask me). Saturday is the best day. Things begin to happen earlier, like the biker´s tour of the city, around 16h00. Protected content . It can get very cold up there, so make sure you carry a nice coat.
