Brazilian Film Screening This Thursday, 3rd March (Brasilia)
Renowned Brazilian Director, Eder Santo's award-winning feature film, 'Blue Desert' will make it's first UK debut at Lift-Off Film Festival in Liverpool's Small Cinema this Thursday, 3rd March at 7pm. This will be followed by a Q&A with Eder.

Blue Desert is the second feature film from Brazilian Director Eder Santos and is a stunning conceptual sci-fi story based on the journey of a young man named Ele, who through symbols encounters his soulmate and the Blue Desert whilst experiencing great revelations. The stunning landscape throughout the film is owed to a selection of renowned artists whose installation artwork was used to create the visually beautiful set.
Set in aesthetic surroundings with retro futuristic scenes, it will make the viewer ponder interesting questionings both internally and philosophically.
Blue Desert contains texts taken from Grapefruit, the first art book by Yoko Ono that inspired John Lennon to write 'Imagine'. The artist and Beatle's widow has already seen the film and sent Director, Eder Santos a postcard saying' To Eder, beautiful! Love Yoko.'
