Life in Brasilia for a young couple

In a few weeks, my husband and I will be moving to Brasilia from Mexico City. I have a question - and forgive me if it seems odd. The impression I get from our Embassy is that Brasilia is a great place for families with children and a lot of the events are organised with children in mind. Not that this bothers me, but as we don't have children and not planning on children anytime soon - I was wondering what life is like there for young couples or singles?
