looking for a high school and apartment share? (Brasilia)

I am a new Zealander moving to Brasilia in january to take up a position teaching at the swiss international school in asa sul. I have a 17 year old daughter and am trying to find options for her as she will not have eligibility to work in Brazil. I am considering sending her to a public Portuguese speaking school for the cultural/language learning benefits as well as the opportunity for her to make friends! Are there any schools located near the swiss international school? Another option is to find some sort of voluntary work for her to be involved in. Also in regards to housing, apartments in asa sul appear quite pricey, is it common for people to apartment share? I appreciate your thoughts :)
