Help with Labour office - government maternity pay (Bratislava)

Hello Internationals. Need some help from either someexpat/slovak who knows how to get through the red tape or has done it before. My wife work for a slovak company and had a baby , not born in Slovakia, two months ago
WE are trying to figure out how to get the government maternity pay - we know there is something to do with the labor office, but not sure what to do especially since the baby was not born here so not a "registered" slovak.
The first action we are going to do is to get her registered with the foreign police (horrible experience...) What do we need to do afterwards?
