Playing Rugby in Bratislava

I have just started to play rugby again in Bratislava and is great fun and so here are some details should anyone else be interested. There is a link below with contact details too of a French guy who has organized it all:

1/ Trainings

The first two trainings will be hold in RETRO stadium Ruzinov, from 18. Protected content
Wednesday 17th; and 24th February.
Free access for everyone, good opportunity to bring a friend and introduce rugby, the best sport ever.

Then, from Wednesday 2nd March, we will move to our private pitch, in Nove Mesto, Trnavka cesta, behind 3 veze.

2/ Matches

A lot of matches rugby XV are planned for April, May, June. We are looking mainly for forwards (first and second raw). Slavo is the best example of successful recruitment. He came to try rugby few trainings only, and became part of the main squad, without any background.

More you train, more you play. In different clubs, whatever the sport, coaches made the choice to let playing members who come only during the matches, and don't show any interests for the trainings, and the cohesion. We need to rehearse together the line out, scrum, and back tactics ; those phases are possible to practice only with a strong team work. Rugby Klub Bratislava is place where beginners could be on the starting squad, regarding their motivation and commitment. Good players, but in ghost mode are not welcome to steal the place of anyone.

3/ Registration and medical certification

Most of the juniors paid attention to bring all documents required. 80% of documents from adults are missing. Please follow the link, and get in touch with Palo (junior's father, Palo and Arek).
Visiting your doctor would be good to have a general check up ; and registration will serve the club to prove the amount of players in Slovak Rugby Union, and European Rugby. It's up to you to deal with it, or not.

Don't forget, I'm the manager, but also just a guy who wanted to create a rugby community in Bratislava from nothing, with my own money. 30 members or more making a positive action will serve the club now and later.

Nová sezóna Jar Protected content už čoskoro.

1/ Tréningy

Prvé 2 tréningy sa uskutočnia na štadióne RETRO od 18:30 do 20:15, stredu 17. a 24. Februára. Voľný vstup pre všetkých, skvelá príležitosť priniesť priateľa a predstaviť mu rugby, najlepší šport.

Od 2 Marca (streda), sa presúvame na naše privátne ihrisko v Novom Meste, Trnavská cesta, za 3 vežami.

Samozrejme, nezabudnite zaplatiť členské za každý mesiac včas, alebo aj pár dní vopred.(sprchy, ihrisko, svetlá nie sú zadarmo - úspory pre rugby)

Poplatok pre dospelých do júna = 4 mesiace x 10 eur - celkovo 40 Eur vrátane zápasov
Poplatok pre juniorov = 4x7 Eur Protected content vrátane zápasov
Poplatok pre ženy = 4x8 Eur Protected content , len tréningy.

2/ ZápasyVeľa zápasov Rugby XV je plánovaných na apríl, máj, jún. Hľadáme hlavne útočníkov (forwards) - prvá a druhá rada. Slavo je najlepším príkladom úspešného náboru. Zúčastnil sa iba pár tréningov a už je súčasťou hlavného tímu, bez predošlých skúseností.

Čím viac trénuješ, tým viac hráš rugby. V rôznych kluboch, bez ohľadu na šport, tréneri sa rozhodnú nechať hrať hráčov, ktorí prichádzajú iba na zápasy a nejavia žiaden záujem o tréningy. My potrebujeme trénovať líniu, mlyn, taktiky vzadu; Tieto fázy je možné zdokonaliť iba so silnou tímovou prácou. Rugby Klub Bratislava je miestom, kde začiatočníci môžu byť v hrajúcom mužstve, záleží iba na ich motivácii a oddanosti. Dobrí hráči, ktorí sa ako duchovia objavia len na zápase, nie sú vítaní kradnúť v tíme miesto iným.

3/ Registrácia a lekárska prehliadka

Vačšina juniorov priniesla všetky potrebné dokumenty. 80 % dokumentov od dospelých stále chýba. Chcel by som ich ešte raz poprosiť, aby sa riadili inštrukciami a dali sa do kontaktu s Palom (Otcovia Juniorov, Palo a Arek) Návšteva lekára môže byť aj dobrým dôvodom išť na všeobecné vyšetrenie. Registrácia slúži pre účely Slovenskej Rugbyovej únii a Európskej Rugby únii. Je na Vás, vybaviť si všetko potrebné.
