Registration (Bratislava)

HI you all,
I just have a question, that I hope you can help me with.
When I went to the Immigration police to register, I wanted to do just the registration, but the documents that I signed and the documents that I showed were for the residency. I didn't think much about it, because I thought I was signed the papers for the registration.
They didn't said anything back, and a friend of mine told me that I should have gone there with the rental contract and with a lawyer to authenticate the landlord's signature for the residency. But I didn't want to ask the residency, I just wanted the registration, and now I am afraid that I don't have the registration done, and because I didn't deliver the necessary documents, so I don't have the residency, that I'll get problems staying here.
