Help Brisbanite clean up after the flood (Brisbane)

Hi guys,
I went to West End yesterday and today to help people clean up their flood-affected homes and get rid of the rubbish and mud - quite a challenge both emotionally and physically, but a great experience of community spirit here that I would not want to have missed.

So grab your friends and lend a hand in the big clean up! Just come along to one of the 4 volunteer centres listed below. there are 2 shifts each day, one starting at 7am, the other 12.30pm. They have organised busses that bring you to the location. Bring closed shoes (recommend gum boots!), long pants, gloves, hat, sunscreen, water and a snack and brushes or whatever you have to clean up.
