New To Brisbane

Hi All, so I will be officially moving to Brisbane in January and although I have somewhere to live when I initially get over there I will be looking for a flat. Any tips on where is best to look, how much I should look to pay, what areas are nice would be great and just a quick question... do lots of places come with or have access to a pool?
