Soon to be newbie. (Brisbane)

Hi all my husband and I plus 3 children are moving to Brisbane in 2 weeks and we are all very excited. I was just wondering how difficult the process is in getting the children into school and nursery. My eldest is 5 soon to be 6 and has already completed her first year in school and so am not to concerned with rushing to get her into school. Just want to get my head around the whole process. My son is 3 so hopefully will be able to start nursery.
Cant wait to get over there and start our new adventure as a family.xx
