Where to Live - Shoe Index (Bristol)

Hello Everyone :-) We are thinking to move to Bristol in the next 12 months and would welcome any information about the different parts of the city. Perhaps someone would enjoy compiling a Shoe Index like this one Protected content that helped us find our niche in Sydney :-)

Any advice appreciated though - we have a 7yr old who loves swimming and gymnastics, and really wants a garden so he can grow things. My husband is looking forward to cycling to work again (not possible in Doha traffic/climate) so any thoughts on that are welcomed too (I gather Bristol is quite hilly). I just want to be somewhere friendly, in walking distance of shops and restaurants :-)
