Moving to Brunei on Sept 9

Hi all,
I am a Singaporean moving to work in Brunei next week, Sept 9 exactly. I will be working for the local newspaper there and hope to hook up with other foreign expats, local residents, etc
Any interesting events, activities or excursions, please keep me in the loop!

What recommendations do people have for internet or cable packages? Also good convenient laundry service? I am not aware of whether my apartment in BSB is providing these but good just to have an idea!
