Friday 14/2 delays on MIVB/STIB network (Brussels)

You local IN strike manager reports: this Friday, 14/2, the MIVB / STIB people will protest. The company expects strong delays or even stopped lines during the day. All lines can be affected, tram, bus and metro. The protest starts at 10, but there might be delays all day long. You can check their website for more updates on the day itself.

NMBS employees will also participate in the action, but they confirmed that only off-duty people will do so.

The protest is not a real strike, but a reaction to the sentencing of a person who killed a STIB employee on duty. They believe the punishment to be too low (the killer got only a suspended sentence).
