I'm starting a new job in Brussels at the beginning of Feb. and need to find a place to live. My job is located on Avenue des Celtes Protected content and ideally Id like to avoid a long commute and live within a 30min walking distance or on the metro line.
I don't really know the city so I'd appreciate some feedback on what areas are generally safe and affordable for renting and where to avoid?
Any advice on how to best find a flat share would be useful.
Alternatively, if anybody has a room to rent please feel free to get in touch!
Ideally, I'd like to share with 1 other (2max.). I'm very well house trained and would be looking for somewhere clean and quiet. I'm 31, from Ireland and enjoy socialising, yoga, hiking and the odd adventure - Ive just returned from travelling in south america. I don't speak French (although I'm planning to learn, or at least try to!)
