Dear IN members,
On January Protected content , a group of entrepreneurs have joined forces to launch the second edition of Molengeek, an event for aspiring entrepreneurs in Molenbeek. I think everyone will agree that the commune is now famous the world over. However not really for the reasons the commune would have liked it to. In fact, there is a lot of talents in the commune and in many cases these talents will not blossomed. The solution: bring the entrepreneurial event to Molenbeek! And that is what we are doing!
'From idea to project' is the theme of the event. It starts on Friday evening (Jan Protected content the participants will pitch their idea (if they have one - you can join without having an idea to test your taste for entrepreneurship). People will then vote for their favorite ideas and the most popular ones will remain. Teams will be formed.
On Saturday, actual group work starts. Teams will define the customer segments, make hypotheses and verify them, create a value proposition for each customer segment. At the end of the day, they will have completed the Business Model Canvas and prepare a prototype (drawing, website, 3D...).
On Sunday, teams will prepare the pitches in front of a qualified jury. in the attendance, we will have members of the governments (Brussels and federal), corporate world (KBC, Dell, Google, Microsoft...) and the media (coverage from the Rtbf)
The week-end costs only 25€ and includes all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). IMPORTANT: French will be the language of choice during the whole event.
For this edition, the team is happy to have seen big sponsors contributing to the success of the organization such as KBC Brussels, Microsoft Innovation Center, Dell, Innoviris, Impulse, the Molenbeek commune, Izeo or Google.
If you can't make it as a participant, you are more than welcome to come on Sunday for the pitches ceremony (free but mandatory registration for security).
