Parking Situation (Brussels)

Hello there,
Does anybody know about the parking situation in Etterbeek? I live in Avenue J. Vandersmissen, it is located in a green parking zone. One street south of Avenue des Volontaires (which would be two streets south of where I live), there are no more parking-ticket-macines (or however you might call them). Does that mean I can park my car there for free?
