Police action at Brussel airport during 1 week (Brussels)

If you will be using Brussels Airport next week (Mon 20 Apr until Fri 24 Apr) you will be confronted with LONG delays at the security checks.

Your local Strike Manager reports: the police and security services at the airport will be conducting strict security checks the whole week. This means that every person passing the check points will be investigated (which takes up more time than a quick glance at your passport and ticket). This will result in much longer waiting times. Especially flights outside the Schengen zone will be affected.

If you are flying from Brussels: advice is to arrive at least THREE hours beforehand.
If you are flying into Brussels and have a connecting flight: you might see delays when passing through security to go to the "inside EU terminal".

The action will be organized during the whole week, so take precautions.
